The following information is important for account activation
- You must provide lynda.com with your work-related email address to verify your eligibility. If you have a UBC faculty or staff appointment, email addresses from non-UBC domains can be used.
- Do not provide lynda.com with a password you already use at UBC.
- When you log into lynda.com for the first time after your initial registration, you will be asked to update your profile with your UBC employment information. This is to help with assessing the success of the pilot program.
- Access to lynda.com is for your exclusive use as a UBC employee. Please do not share personal log-in information with anyone.
Once a personal profile is set-up, you can log in at any time through the lynda.com log in link using your user name (work email address) and self-selected password.

UBC Privacy Notification
This system will collect some information about you (your name, email address, UBC employment group, UBC Faculty position title, possible UBC learning project association, and IP address) under the authority of section 26(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA).
